ABOUT ME 

I started university with every musicians dream, to become a pop star, I thought it was going to be easy. However, spending time in the industry taught me that it was not going to be plain sailing. I came to university with the idea of graduating being an all rounder and I believe I have completed this dream. I have spent my time gigging around Falmouth, North Devon and various parts of the UK, worked on my DAW skills so that I can produce songs and now focussing on my academic skillset. 

I started gigging as 'Clove' in 2015 and became 'Clove and Company' in 2017 with some amazing lads, we have released a single and have toured 'The Company Tour' in Easter of 2019. We are now currently recording the EP which will be out later this summer. 

My freelance journalism passion started from creating a student music website partnered with Falmouth University called 'Noted' this allowed me to explore my writing techniques in a professional atmosphere.  I have now enhanced my practice and have been working for CLUNK magazine and Whisper Magazine in Falmouth UK. 

Graduating with an upper 2:1 in Popular music, I hope to continue my fascination with writing and popular music research as I have delved into the realm of digital media and how this has impacted the industry over the past months. I want to research and make a change or do a PHD. 

This is my portfolio and hopefully the key to my hopes and dreams, I hope you enjoy my work.
